How to Register:

1. Choose Your Course
Click the “Add +” button next to your course, select the number of students, and enter your name and email.

2. Optional Donation
The registration platform, Zeffy, will automatically suggest a 15% donation. This donation is optional and does not go to the Community Hebrew Program. To set it to 0%:

  • Click the “15%” amount

  • Select “Other”

  • Enter “0”

3. Complete Your Registration
Click “Continue,” scroll down to enter your payment info, then click “Buy Tickets.”

Prayerbook Hebrew 1: Learn to Read - SUNDAYS

Sundays from 12:30 pm PT to 2:30 pm PT

Dates: January 11, 25; February 1, 8, 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Classes are taught live (synchronously) on Zoom.

Textbook: A Reading and Prayer Primer

This 10-week online course is for beginners who want to read Hebrew from the prayerbook. We’ll cover the basics of reading print letters with vowels using A Reading and Prayer Primer.

Using Prayerbook Hebrew the Easy Way, you’ll unlock the meaning of Hebrew prayers, expanding both your spiritual and linguistic skills.

Expand your knowledge of possessive endings, key prayer vocabulary, and essential grammatical structures to enhance your connection to Jewish prayers and blessings.

Expand your prayerbook Hebrew skills: Learn possessive endings, “this” and “that,” and additional key grammar concepts.

Understand more Hebrew prayers and blessings: Build confidence reading and comprehending Hebrew texts.
